Subject: [alt-beam] BEAM FAQLinks (was: Before you reply)

Look at the following and see if you think if it will work.

If it might and you know a page with an answer that isn't on the list yet,
add the answer and the URL. If you want an answer, add the answer -- do
NOT put it in the form of a question. And if you know the answer where
I've neglected to put in a link, add the link. Don't include this whole
list, though .

Answers are most easily started with one of the following words:

why
who
what
where
when
how

If it does work, this list could be posted to the emailing list every two
weeks. Kindly forgive any typos and other silly errors.

At this point I'd like to make two comments. First, the last 20+ lines
just above this explains why Ian's site is good. In fact, all of the lines
above show how these contributors to the state of the art in BEAM
technology are so valuable to us all.

Secondly, although there is an old Greek philosophical tradition of
teaching by answering a question with a question it really is terribly
frustrating. I am really hoping that you can see why a list of answers
would make a difference.

Such is my poor effort at a start of one way to sweeten the BEAM emailing
list. Would you please continue it with your contributions?

Zoz
