Are people calling a few blinking LED's a bot? I'm not at least. Besides,
there's a significant difference between merely making a few LED's blink and
the intention of investigating how and why they blink like they do.

I will have to disagree. Making rules tends to limit peoples imagination and
leaves no room for imagination and innovation. Besides, different ways of
putting stuff together tends to conform to categories. That's why we refer
to walkers, poppers, turbots etc.

So, quality is defined by making rules about what defines a bot and what
doesn't?

I don't - but that won't make us enemies ;) after all we have to have room
to question these things - so thumps up for that.
Cheers,
