I have not seen such bad use of the written English language until joining
this list last year.

One other thing, I have noticed a massive increase in the amount of non beam
and personal messages on this list since I was last on it. Remember people,
we have to wade through every non beam post that occurs to find the real
beam related articles. I really do not want to know about flowing glass or
be notified every time you add another Java applet to your web site. You
will notice that none of the old beamers(experience, not age), post anything
but beam related material, follow their lead. Please people, stick to the
subject.

I hate to sound like i'm crabbing, but this list is about just a bit more
interesting when you have those off the wall subjects. Sometimes its those
very things that give you a good idea! As for notifying about web page
updates, most of us wouldn't really get any visitors if we didn't mail the
list! just remember, there is a delete key!!!!!

not sure where at, but they are there! Look around that's my only advice.

for standard usage. Good Luck!

That, actually, is quite possibly a myth. It's a bit contraversial, but most
of that is just wear and tear, it would take billions upon trillions of years
to run!

13322 Mon, 10 Apr 2000 16:29:07 -0700 m/s bicore walker "BEAM List" "Phillip A. Ryals" I've built a few m/s bicore walkers, but the one I'm building now is driving
me nuts. I think it has something to do with the caps on the motors. I'm
using servos, and I removed the caps long ago for a different project. I
hook the circuit up to an unmodified servo and it runs, but then I hook it
up to the others and it doesn't.

I've modified these servos a *lot*, so I don't really want to swap them for
the others. Any idea what cap values are most commonly used with servos?

Thanks for any help.
