The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Jim's reference is very good. Although I've only kibitzed during the last
four events (I missed the first one) it would appear that they've come a
huge distance with regard to the organization of things even though the
first one I saw was impressive. However, Dave Hrynkiw writes:

which is inconsistent with the Project Epsilon calendar
(http://set.lanl.gov/programs/epsilon/calendar.html)
and Paul Argo isn't
mentioned so I admit to being quite confused. At least as far as the
Epsilon people are concerned, however, it appears to be strictly an
educational outreach program, i.e. only between elementary through high
school. Joseph Vigil's email address is jlv@lanl.gov although going to the
registration page (http://set.lanl.gov/programs/epsilon/reg.html)
might be
of more use.

Hi all,
This is not intended as a put-down, just a suggestion.
If a list member sends in another language, have the courtesy to translate
the message and respond.
If that's a problem check out: www.bablfish.altavista.com, or:
http://www.babylon.com
or:
www.e-lingo.com
Meanwhile...it might be good to clean up our own usage of the native
language here...speaking of here and there...THERE refers to location, not
possesive. If you mean their house, it's not there house..
Also if you've had to ultra violate an LED, I don't even want to hear about
it! If you want to buy a violet
LED (a color) as opposed to rape, that's another matter.
One more comment, and I'll bug off. If you are in your early teens, and...if
your parents are able to blow off a grand or two, to get rid of you for a
month or two, look into the "Summer-Stay programs. Most European
countries, and many Asian countries are signed up. It's a great way to
expand your concepts. Go live with the family over there, and learn some of
the language, customs, see the country, etc. (Not to mention the food!)
Well, to sum up...I know the English language is changing,(ever faster,
since e-mail, and poor typists)
so if all else fails (including the spell checker...) grab the old book
called a Dictionary!
I'm gone,
Joe Pledger
