Subject: a water + light powered aqautic robot?

Hmm, it just hit me from writing my previous post.
Imagine this mechanism, a chamber is filled up with water and solar =
power slowly takes out the hydrogen (by electrolysis) which builds up =
in the robot (epoxy chamber) where a spark ignites it, which sends water =
rushing out, projecting the robot a long long way, wherer the process =
begins again. Perhaps ahead of its time but quite possible.

pressure system like a paintgun does , but nonethe less , you would be able
to dial in the velocity.....btw : anyon know what the bots are playing on?
you could make it so it hears the dng or thud of the pellet hitting the enmy
bot , and keep peltin 'em in that direction...and you could just set it to
"cardboard" or "metal" body b the match.....

oh i see...thats a one shot mach-5 beam...hmm..good point......well i think
itd werk...

why would size of a system like this be a problem ~ wouldnt the small CO2
containers for a pellet gun work??

Not really ahead of its time ~ however, it would have be sorta like the
storage of the strobe circuit of a flash ~ like that of a camera flash circuit

What u could try is to store up a voltage level in a cap ~ then if you can
get it to convert that stored voltage to a high voltage with low Amps (like a
spark) ~ you could fire it into a chamber and bubble off hydrogen and oxygen
~ vent that gas created ~ instead of pushing water out of the bot ~ but into
a chamber then use the now created hydrogen and oxygen mixture as a fuel to
fire the piston of a small motor ~ this could drive a cam and drive the bot
using a propellor or other means.

A little bit of mechanical work ~ but it could be done???

I could also see the bot set up to "seek" water useing a moisture sensor ~ it
would drive around to FIND its fuel (water) ~ then when it finds it ~ it
would "EAT" sucking water into a chamber ~ then go through the above process
to drive around again ~ therefore meeting the requirememt of what i see as a
BEAM bot ???
