You have to get approval from pargo@lanl.gov - he's the organizer. It's
being held in Santa Fe this year, at an artist's colony. May 4-7. Not much
else for details!

Dave

I have made what u call "fireflies". They are
actually called pummers(charge all day shine, blink,
etc... all night) in the BEAM community. For mine I
have used the old D1 SE connected right to a LED for
continious lighting. But if you want it to blink I
have used both a FLED in place of the regular LED.
And attached a Bicore with 2 LEDs so they alternate at
night. But if u want just one LED to blink just use
one LED. Also instead of using a D1 SE you can use
Wilf's SIMD1 which I haven't tried personally but have
heard good results from it. Hope this helps ya.

the light bounces back and forth until its coherent and exscapes out the
partly mirrored side. coherent means all the particules of light are going
straight in 1 direction, incoherent means its going everywhere
