Yes, I guess so... I have no real hands on experience with lasers... but it
was covered in one of my classes... I asked the professor what was meant by
"stored up"... The way I understand it is that as the light is changed in
axis (direction of flow???) it is reflected several times... And builds up
till it hits some kind of threshold or is it just proper alignment???...
Then is emitted... In a flash laser it can take a long time after the flash
before it is released... (ten of nano seconds)...
I have to admit, I still don't understand the deference between cohesive and
coherent...
