Subject: Question about photodiodes

How do photodiodes work, and how can I use them in a four motor walker???

sunlight, you may be able to use a Fresnel lens. I have seen credit
card sized (& even bigger) fresnel lenses sold in dollar shops for what
else - a dollar each. These are very thin (about a mm thick) and made
of plastic - so light weight too. The heat effect on solar cells is
something you still have to worry about. Hence the condition of using
indoors. Anybody tried this?

The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

walker? None of the links I found work.
