Subject: [alt-beam] Re: Parts???

That should be great, Dave! I am a newbie, and I started off by ordering the solaroller a short time ago, and when I order it said to allow 6 weeks for delivery. I almost changed my mind about ordering, but then decided to go through with it. It did not take six weeks to ship, but it was not extremely fast either. Also, I saw no mention of currency that you were listing your prices in. I assume it is canadian money, which means that some people see and inflated price on the site, when it is actually far less in US money. Maybe you could even put the current exchange rate for canadian dollars to us dollars on your site. I will definitely be ordering more from you if you do have this new fast shipping, despite what I consider high prices ;).
But since I have gone and said that, does anyone know of a place where I can get good beam solar panels for a reasonable price? Thanks!

Sorry you're having shipping delays. Most orders get out of here within 24
hours of arriving. There's a new service coming into play this summer via
Canada/US Post - we should be able to offer 3-day service then.

Dave

I breadboarded a 1381 based solar engine and i took it out in direct =
sunlight today and it didn't work. I am using a 24x33 solar cell and an =
E trigger, when it hit full sunlight the cap would level out at about =
.85v. I think this has something to do with the trigger not reseting but =
I don't know if there is a way to fix it, any help would be usefull. =
Thanks.

Very typical of a bad connection to the motor - double check that first!
