Ken,
The hankscraft gear motors make excellent solar powered light seeking
heads, try a 3733 cell with leads contacted direct to the motor in
direct sunlight and you will see what I mean. The gears are soft
plastic, and grind easy. The motor, if you take the case off, is
oversized but great for low light SYMETs. A walker might be possible,
but I have my doubts at this point (not enough torque).
