780 k is quite high enough for good photopopping! I'd give it a go. But
whatever you do make sure that the circuit works perfectly before putting
the epoxy on! I'm a bit puzzled as to why the epoxy would conduct at
all.. but 800 k for 3mm is fine for your popper. Go for it!

quickies fer ya.
again, let me stress that the turning of the bot is a result of the
Mechanical design, not the electrical circuit.
take a look at the pics for a general idea and i'll answer questions as
well as i can.
