turning milk into cheese (oops, bad analogy) like turning lead into gold!
Mark T did a turbot, i think, using stepper motors an a modified bicore. I
really think that if you tried you might be able to get something out of
them, but you can't directly or easily turn them into regular DC motors. Good
Luck!

12748 Wed, 29 Mar 2000 19:36:28 EST [alt-beam] The "G" word! beam@sgiblab.sgi.com BUDSCOTT@aol.com We all know the "G" word, and we often associate it with damnation. not "god"
but "gearhead motors". I finally figured out why it cost so much for good
geared motors, it took me a hour to convert two RM-1 with a KTU (kitchen
timer unit gear box) to a decent friction drive gear motor! They look okay,
and the run decent, but man alive! it takes forever in a day to calibrate
them motors so they have enough grip that they won't slip, but not too much
that it bogs down! I'll try an put up some pictures, but Eisbot, trust me
there is no good way to mate the gears and the motors, your tutorial probably
has them the best! C'ya!

i really need to know what this triangle is, i can't find it. it has three
leads and no values. where would a powersorce go. it isn't included but i
think it goes on the opposite side of the motor so the power goes through
the most parts. the schematic is the basic of basic bicores, it has like 8
parts.
