hmm...what might help you is if you draw a schematic yourself seperating the
bicores, what you'll find is that the first enable line is for all the bicore
inverters, and the second enable is for the reverser inverters. Check the
little drawing of the 240 chip that i attached. If you break that up, maybe
you'll find out whats wrong, my guess is that your linking resistors are out
of whack. Hope you find a solution!
