TO ALL NEWBIES, EXPERTS, AND EVERYONE IN BETWEEN:

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A DUMB QUESTION!

Contrary to what you may believe, most people do not feel burdened by
answering elementary questions. Anybody that DOES get frustrated by these
questions is, in my experience, usually not a very nice person.

I'm not trying to single anyone out. Just know that everyone was a
beginner at some point, even big Mark T. Nobody's going to laugh or sneer
if you ask what a resistor is, because there was a time when none of us
knew that answer. Instead, what you will find (as you always have, I
hope), is a bunch of friendly people, eager to share their knowledge and
answer your questions, no matter how basic or trivial the questions might
be.
