Not wishing to sound too parasitic (or drool too much), so... somewhat uninterested voice> when do we get to see the schematic? :-)

(I know you've just described it in detail, but I still like schematics
:)

Any one out there know the power rates of those crystal radio thingys?
The stuff that you can use to both receive the signal and produce power?
I was thinking it may be interesting to try out on a night active bot. I
found some kits for radios that are the size of a credit card, stack a
few of them and the foot print would stay pretty small. Think of it, a
dark seeking little bot that is powered by radio waves( maybe even throw
on one of those luminescent sheets.- fire fly/glow bug)
Do you think it could work??

Nope. I did alot of research into this awhile back because I was working on
a design for a emf battery. Basically a battery that ran forever and never
needed charging. Just absorbed the radio energy from things like stars.
Unfortuantly, it doesn't work. You simply don't get enough power. You just
don't. The design itself, does work. And it DOES generate power. Nickola
Tesla worked on designs such as this and technically invented the 'free
energy' machine. His idea was to broadcast special 'power' radio signals
that in turn would be received by his radio batteries. When his investors
heard the word 'free' they pulled out of the project and left Tesla
Stranded. Either way, nope. Using ambient radio energy won't work.

I cant find the link right now but once I do I'll post it.
