These BG micro motors that everybody raves about, could I get a stock # of a
fairly well priced gear motor model?

halogen bulb in it, that in conjuction with some clamp on 60w regular bulbs
will do quite well

They're not BG micro motors. They're Nihon motors. A few years back a
bunch of them were sold as Surplus by BG Micro (for truly great prices).
Everyone refered to them as BG Micro motors after that, and the name is
still hanging around on various web sites. You won't find anything like
this at BG Micro today (which is not to say they won't get some again,
someday).

More recently, Herbach & Rademan was selling a surplus lens assembly
that had two of these motors in it. Back in January, Bob Shannon posted
this:

" ... in Issue 3 of the 1999 catalog, on page 82 they
list part number TM98OPT3202, at $29.95 each."

A couple of people reported buying them, and were extremely pleased with
what they got.

When I raised rabbits ~ lol ~ dont laugh ~ they made me a conciderable
amount of $$ ~ and a healthy tax ride off to boot ~ I remember reading about
and seeing in use by another breader a type of light bulb/tube used to mimic
the light produced buy the sun ~ rabbits decrease their breading cycle when
the sun light lessens ~ ie the fall and winter of the year ~ I havent been
able to find this light listed on any site for rabbit products ~ nor do I
remember what its name was ~ but I do remember it was very cheep ~ was easy
to come by ~ almost as cheep as a standard light ~ and cheeper then a grow
light. ~ but it did put out the spectrum of light that would work for a solor
cell.

just a thought for you lighting problem

just got bitten by the BEAM bug and i am looking for walker schematics
and if anyone knows where i could get some motors in the Alberta area
or if the radio hack's motors are any good
can't afford a kit (electronics student, aka broke)
but i can scam most of the parts from handouts at NAIT, just can't find
any
decent motors.
if anyone has a schematic that they can share or point me in the right
direction it would be apreciated.

thanks
