The best alternative to sunlight for solar cells are halogen lights, they
by far produce the most current . Second is incadesant, they provide mid
range current. Lastly is Fluroesant, which I would say is the worst for
solar cells. They provide near to no current. Halogens are nice for having
really active bots, but in competition they have been known to melt solar
rollers. I have never really measured the temperature of a halogen when
it's heated up, I wouldn't be surprised if it is in excess of 400^o F.
