There _was_, but it was of such crappy quality after a bazillion dupes, we
had to retire it.

I tried a similar idea in about '93 for a flatbot micromouse, using 8
motors (2 per corner, 90 deg to each other) and a battery to see if I could
get directed motion. Worked not too bad at low RPM, but it wasn't
sufficient to lift the weight of the battery. I think it should work given
more time...

12200 Mon, 20 Mar 2000 13:32:24 -0500 [alt-beam] Re: Some mini geared motors on eBay beam@sgiblab.sgi.com "Arthur J. Lekstutis" That's correct. I didn't realize that he posted this to the whole list,
but I'm legally and morally stuck here on this. The first bid on the
lens was for $1.00, and I would have gladly honored that. That was the
commitment I made when I offered it up on eBay.

If we were to start selling things directly on this list it would
quickly deteriorate into a bunch of useless e-mail for most of us. The
volume of e-mail on this list is already high. Besides this is not the
correct forum for that, that is exactly what eBay is designed for and I
see little reason to bypass it. I'm sorry for those that can't register,
but would suggest that they think of a way around this: perhaps having
somebody else register for them?

And now back to the discussions already in progress (I hope).....

Later,
Artie

12201 Mon, 20 Mar 2000 11:04:53 -0800 [alt-beam] Numbers: What IC? alt-beam@eGroups.com "Jonathan Bowen" Ok Here is my problem. I need to make a time clock. I need this to have
the ability to be stoped, reset, and changed. I want to use it in a
basket ball game situation for my school. I have 2 setups one is larger
and one is smaller they are a series of LEDs in the formation of an
eight. I was wondering if there is some sort of Ic or curcit I can use
to display a three or four digit time in both locations. I think you
for you time.
