What I meant was don't supply the circuit direectly from the 9V battery.
Use a 1k resistor in series with the battery. This will stop the motors
from burning out.

You will need a power storage cap - from 4700uF to 1 F will work. 4700
will give very brief steps, 1F will give huge ballerina-style steps. The
4700 uF cap should be connected to your circuit where it says to on the
schematic (to + and - rails) and the 9V should be connected with a 1k
resistor in series with it.

bought from solarbotics Http://www.solarbotics.com

yup directly to the circuit's motor outputs.
to clarify: I used the 6 transistor H-Bridge in the H-Bridge tutorial on
Beam-Online.

I mentioned I am using a 9V battery on the h-bridges. This is NOT true on
Lotus. He uses a 3.8V. I have a small walker (horizonal frnt motor)
that is powered by the 9V, BUT uses the same 6 transistor H-Bridge config
that is in the Beam-Online H-Bridge tutorial.

ps
still lookin for someone to come up with a reverser for that 240 uCORE!
