I just got back from vacation and had well over 100
e-mails, but I don't mind because all of the BEAM
mailings have been, for the most part, interesting.
Even off topic ones that sprout up could be worked in
to BEAM, and well may be. It seems that most of the
100+ mailings are about the suggested change, which
oddly enough was supposed to _reduce_ the "noise".
Making two lists, in my opinion, would discourage
actual postings, and encourage cross-posting, if there
was any posting at all. It's just an all out bad idea,
in my opinion. Then again, my opinion is just that: my
opinion, nothing more, nothing less. Take it for what
you will.
