Rob i agree! personally i would like to see Bruce and Wilf's chirp
call/answer system taken to a level of practicality. That little gem of a
circuit is a resource waiting to be exploited in my humble opinion!

we have tried a newbie werk together project on the PSHead, and a lot
really learned a bunch, with some great documentation coming out of it...
(and some werk is still being done, watch for Elmo's notes coming soon)
maybe something else could be attempted for those who want their walkers to
do more than just walk...
(graph out a persons living space providing accurate measurments for a
C.A.D. program for example)

the point is, I think you are absolutly right and I have recieved the most
satisfaction and further reaching results when working as a a part of a team.
The tendancy to re-invent the wheel seems to be strong in Beam applications .
my 2 cents..
