Well, after being on a job sight I have come home to a ton of mail from you
guys. You know, that delete key works great for things I don't have an interest
in. I actually have read every e-mail, but I am sure that the delete button
works.
I am preparing a collaborative workshop for thirty artists this summer and
thought of that when I started reading this thread. This list is a big
collaborative effort for teaching, promoting, inspiring... Reading about
someones wierd gait walker is as inspiring as reading about someones lotus (by
the way did it have the little rectangular tag on the side or is that another
model?). I would love to make a little solar engine powered version of my car.
As an artist I can say that inspirations come from the strangest of places. If
you move one grain of sound on the beach you will change the face of the world
forever.
The only thing that I am a little dissappointed about is that certain threads
have not gone further. It sounds like you are right on the edge of a bigger
idea that could really be the next big advance in BEAM and then someone
complains and the conversations becomes a defense of your e-mail. If ALL you
guys worked together on one project the pillars of heaven would surely tremble.

O.K. so I am rambling, I have only had 4 hours sleep since Thursday. I would
like to know how many people have deleted this message before getting this far,
may I see a show of hands, don't be shy raise those hands.

One of each so far, plus a wiggler (sort of a SYMET with an eccentric on
the motor lifted up on paper clip legs). The FLEDse he likes is Half of
the standard FRED, seems to fire better than the one at BEAM Online. His
Solar roller is a 1381se, and his Light seeking head is battery. Not
much so far but he is building a nice collection.

and the H-Bridges are holding up fine.
( ihad to use a 9v cause it turns out some gear mtrs i got are highly
INefficient!)
I think those 3904 and 3906 transistors are pretty sturdy things for the
most part.
