Somewhat, but in Kyle's case part of that is due to the wieght and the
motors he is using. Freeforming at his age is a little difficult so he
is using protoboard cut to size. Then add the wieght of a pair of
FF-030PN Motors (see www.solarbotics.com online cataloge for more info)
and it gets really heavy. But it is strong enough to push other bots out
of the way. What caps are you using? Kyle used a 0.047F with 1000uf to
reduce internal resistence. Normally he uses the 47uf to reduce
resistence but ran out, so he picked the lowest wieght cap he had on
hand. You use what you have:)
BTW: Try covering all but the very tip of the FLED's in the bright sun
to reduce lock up. Sometimes just passing a finger over one FLED or the
other will wake the bot up.
