Subject: [alt-beam] HPV testing (got solar?)
content-transfer-encoding: quoted-printable
Hey all you BEAM cats!
Solar Cells arrived yesterday! Thanks, Justin!! Been doing some testing o=
f the HPV today on my breaks. At 1:13PM EST, I discharged the cap (10,000u=
F, 10V) completly and it took 8.3 seconds to fire the first time. From the=
n, it fired every 1.3 seconds. The discharge voltage is 7.56VDC and it sta=
rts charging again at 6.40VDC. I placed it on the hood of my car and it cl=
imbed right up to the windshield (windscreen, for you continentals)! I'm p=
lanning on doing some actual tests on various grades to guage it's performa=
nce.
I'll keep posting results as I get them.
