Subject: [alt-beam] tiny pager motors $3.75

I came across this

The motor, with an eccentric weight on the shaft, from a vibrating pager. A tiny 3/16” dia with (2) flatted sides x 5/8” long, it is smaller than most medicine
capsules. It has a 1/4” long shaft and (2) 1” hook up wires. Weighing (2) grams, it will spin @ 4000 rpm on 1.5 VDC and can handle up to 2.0 VDC. An absolutely amazing little gem, it will be great with battery or solar power. We don’t have all that many, so get
yours now. 30525 TINY DC MOTOR $3.75 / each

pager motors is quite popular.

Can anyone recommend a source of this types of motor in the UK (apart
from dismantling my wife's phone!!)?

The US is quite fortunate in their range of possible suppliers (mind you,
this seems true for all electronic/robotic supplies!!).

Many thanks

Duncan
