Great little caps, haven't had a chance to use them new yet (my son
salvages them off motion detectors and the like) but we have had the
same problem with some circuits on the breadboard. Try a 47uf cap in
parallel with the .47f cap, and adding a filtering cap at the motor,
around .1 to 1uf. Someone else may be able to explain why it works--that
is beyond my scope.
