hi... I see this happen with nearly all newbies...
try NOT to jump right in and do advanced stuff in
BEAM, you will probably jump right over the simple
things that are important. the solarengines, etc. are
there for beginners, but most all newbies feel they
are too good for them, don't make that mistake!!!

PS- it takes 4-6 weeks most of the time to get stuff
from solarbotics to Maine...

described (crabwalk, back up, pivot, arching turns etc...) come from that one
MUX?

11783 Tue, 14 Mar 2000 08:43:42 EST [alt-beam] 1000k pots beam@sgiblab.sgi.com "Corey Centen" Hi everyone,

Are 1000k pots too high to make a standard photovore? I couldn't find any
small 100k's at radio shack, I think they were all out. Also, can
photoresistors be used in the place of photodiodes? I got something at radio
shack called cadmium photocells. I'm not sure if they are the same as the
photodiodes or resistors? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
