Subject: [alt-beam] Gearboxes
I've been hunting for geared motors for the last month to no avail. I'm
gettin antsy to make a new robot but its hard to do without motors, geared,
thinkin turbot. So i was thinkin about gearboxes, why not make my own gear
box. After realizing that i had no gears or casing to even make a pathetic
atempt, I began to think (not really, my brain aren't worked any morefrom
them lead fumes). Ya know those chinsy little egg timers, the ones at the
grocery store for 2-3 bucks. Those must have gears in them, and anything that
is a box and has gears is a gear box. So anybody who wants to venture to the
groccery store, think BEAM. I'm gonna take a trip there and buy a couple
probably, unless of course somebody e-mails me saying i'm weird for thinking
about egg timers. got the idea from the OTU.

word in plaintext, but it might have something to do with
