Another useful signal would be a distress call.....this is really coming
together now isnt it =)

skeptic, but i really am not to sure on that. However, both you guys on the
list, and Nimbus (my walker, finally named it) convinced me that somehow
somewhere there is some strange guiding force that the walker is controlled
by, its almost like it knows more than we think it knows. With my one tact.
sensor (reverser) it is able to do a kindof turn due to the trigger delay
caused by the cap charge for the reverse (that sounds right) and for some
strange reason, it is quite adept! I comprimised chiu's and millers angling
to get about a fifty degree angle. i have a feeling that no satisfying answer
will pop up for this question of feedback, at least in the near future.
somebody mentioned motor gain affecting cap charge time, that makes sense,
but it still doesn't quite give us an exact understanding of the unexpected
adeptness exhibited in walkers. Oh well, only time will tell (hehe it ryhmes)!

11527 Wed, 8 Mar 2000 16:23:47 EST [alt-beam] Remember solenoids? beam@sgiblab.sgi.com BUDSCOTT@aol.com Remember a while ago i was tryin to make a photovore out of solenoids? Well,
so much for that plan, i'm makin a beamant out of 'em. Heres the idear for
anybody who might be interested in such a project. The plan is to mount the
solenoids so that they push down at the ground (i'll convert my pulls to
pushes) at such an angle so that the project themselves forward while pushing
themselves in the air. Since the Beamant circuit is affected by light by
making the timing on one side longer (that just hold the solenoid in) i'm
gonna use a solar engine like circuit on the output. Something that will
charge up a cap, release it, and charge it up again as long as the bicore has
the current going to it. This way the solenoid will 'pop' up several times
per the bicore nv. If you guys got any input or comments, or want to know
more, your welcome to respond!

archive as I think I've seen the topic before.

If that's a two meter walker, very carefully.
