Bronco on occasion will take unexpected turns, sometimes turning 90
degrees in a space of 3 feet, and other times going nearly perfectly
straight. No sensors at all are installed!

heres the question. can you make a two motor walker turn, if so, can you make
it phototrophic? i have an idea how, but i need time to develoup my thoughts
better! catch ya on the flip-side!

cannot let myself think that either answer is wrong, but that is not only
very improbable, it definitly borders impossible, i cant give a good answer
for why it might do that, no sensors! If you look at what we're using, an
octal bus IC, it can't really get good feedback from motors, that is too
weird, has anybody else experienced this strange phenomenon?

timer motor that took the slow output from it, and slowed it even
further so it was ONE REVOLUTION EVERY 8 DAYS!!! It's packed with
numerous brass gears. I'm trying to convince him to let me take it off
his hands. He likes messing with large AC motors, so I'm hoping I can
find one and tempt him into a trade with it! :)

Anyway, I don't know where i can find them, but the school I go to had
shelves of electric utility meters. Those are SO FULL of quality brass gears!!!

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any other commonly salvagable source of
gears? These are some pretty precision decices, and aren't so easy to
find, at least as far as I know.

Hmm... Maybe I'll just try to buy the gearbox when I get cash.

You can download NTE's cross referencing program at
http://www.nteinc.com/QCsignin.html which gives you their equivalent part and
a short description. Although they don't have everything it's alright.
