but they are really light, i works awesome, this way you can make different
sensors for different environments, plus, the inside of the plug housing is
perfect for touch sensor stuff. it has a small solder pad in the middle of
the plug, with a long extention for the other half of the plug, it has a
small "U" at the end, Heck, solder a ring around the one end and solder the
sensor to the pad and you have a simple sensor!

11369 Sun, 5 Mar 2000 17:35:37 EST [alt-beam] lobster beam@corp.sgi.com Bumper314@aol.com All the info I see on Lobster seems to say that it was not a success. I see
Tilden talking about it falling down all the time. So in the argument of 5
motor walkers over 4 or 3, I guess the circuit is just as important as the
frame. I have been happy with the bicore, so should I make a 5 motor walker
with bicores, or go to the old microcore? Chiu's did seem very able and fast
even with the microcore, and you cant argue with the success of Walkman, but
I hate how people try to push the jittery first steps before the PNC has set
the right pulse as the bot actually learning. That has been disproven correct.

what exactly that does (glorified occilator), but i'm confused about this
microcore business, is it obsolete or is it just more difficult than the
bicore?

Well, I personally don't believe that the bots are "learning". The chip is=
just settling into a useful pattern.
The term that has been bandied about for this is emergent behavior, but I'm=
none too sure about that one either.
