On a schematics, the emitter is the one with the arrow (on PNP, and
NPN: both). What yo should be carefull is on the real transistor. I
mean, the order of the pins is different on every transistor, depending
on the maker. I recomend you look at it on the specs page (try
motorola.com or national.com)...

and
arrow Not Pointing iN... = NPN
And remembering this also helps with diodes too...

Interesting. It runs fine off Netscape 4.05. Anyone else try this?

Actually, this has been done quite recently. Justin has come up with an
arrangement that couples Wilf's power smart head with the Hemicore walker
circuit. It not only turns (a video can be seen at Adaptobotics.com) but, is
highly positively phototropic. I've built one as well, but haven't posted it
yet. Still need to replace the gumby legs. Look around a little. There's a
lot of cool stuff out there.

I think I figured out how to view the video. Let Netscape download
the thing, then go to your cache and look for an AVI file that's a 1.5 or
so megs. Copy the file to another directory before Netscape cleans out the
cache and you're set! I think the problem is that Angelfire wants to
advertise with each web-page and when you try to directly access the AVI
file without going through a link, it gives you problems. Anyway, take care!

Bernie

P.S. Sparky, that is a great video! Now, what did you do after the walker
spilled all that water! :-)
