Elmo....the head scratcher.
How does a waker move ? by using it's legs, how do these move ? by a
series of geared motors why not apply the same principal to fins ???
I do not think that it would be that difficult.
P.S did you never have the underwater action man with submersible
craft ?
moomin trolls just because we are small and white,
it does not mean we are dangerous.
10800 Thu, 24 Feb 2000 12:02:05 -0800 [alt-beam] shack caps beam@sgiblab.sgi.com Laura Malinowski Laura/Rob Malinowski Interesting thing happened. I built a two motor walker yesterday, worked
fine. This morning I got stupid and put the battery connection in
backwards. Went over to Radio Shack picked up some new capacitors. I
replaced one at a time and tried the circuit in between. replaced three
and now one of the motors moves more in one direction than the other so
that eventually they make a complete circle. switched one cap for
another and it they only move in one direction. Did it again and only
one leg moves. Now with every thing back in place I power it up and the
legs make a 180 degree turn and then start the oscillating movement. I
still think it is the caps but if there are any other theories speak up
and let me know. Most advice is good advice.
