I agree, Dennison. As a new subscriber to the list, it's nice to see a
regular poster defending the value of a variety of views and of conversations
at all levels of experience.
Now, maybe I'll get all caught up on reading this stuff in a week or two. ;-)

few leads and was able to find the administrator's ICQ number from
another site witht the same theme. I downloaded and installed ICQ and
got his current e-mail address off the information there and was able to
contact him!
According to him, they are supposed to be up by the end of this month or
the beginning of next month. With any luck, that'll include my web page.
I'm going to try to take video of several of my robots. Walkman, Bronco,
Megavore, Photovore, and Floor monkey will show up first. They will be
posted when my site goes up and after I can solve the coruption problems
with my capture card. Stupid ixMicro went out of buisnes so I don't have
any tech support. I have to play with the settings myself. The fortunate
thing is they are actualy considering releasing technical info on it to
me! I'm pretty happy about that! I just hope it happens! hey, it was
only $34 total, so it's not like it's a loss! It works and all. I just
need to be careful recording.

Ummm, I believe that the same could be said of those that believe as
you. Some may be tired of your beliefs, since they don't are you
suggesting they not speak what they believe? As far as ever emulating
humans with a robot...how about learning how we work first. Is it arrogant
for you to say that we can, when we don't know all of the complexities of
our own bodies? How can we say one way or another, until we know to what
extent we need to go? This is not meant as a flame, more as pointing out
that others have opinions too, and to bring up a few questions about your
own argument.
...I return the soapbox to you.
