My son breadboard half the FRED1.1 circuit and added a 47 uf cap in parallel
with the motor, he had to drop the main cap down to a single 4700 uf cap to tone
down the motor. He has to still build a SYMET with the circuit, but it is gong
to be active. The test motor easily dragged a CD 80 - 100 mm. The problem he has
had so far is keeping the jumper cables from ripping off the motor as it twists
around dragging the CD.
