The Shawnee was a latter production version...
The flying Banana did not ....

I'd Love to see it...

Of course!!! no trust no counter force!!! just change your model to a
standard helicopter configuration and see if it spins with no thrust from
the tail rotor???

it to begin with, just wanted to see how much you'd back up the circuit, i'm
convinced!

mounted on a beam have twice the tork then this one must have a Quadruple
"Crap-load" of tork!!!

please don't hunt me down and kill me!)

I too love my photovores and think they're a great robot, even my symet
has a small portion of affection. i just think that sometimes we don't
realize that we aren't God. we can't reproduce exact living organisms, we
can't really make things that will react to an environments that we face. we
have to realize that these are simple two-dimesional entities. they simply do
what they are made to do, the definition of a robot is a machine that
completes a given task. we can't make robots that will completely develoup a
full fledge "personality" and act as if truely alive. we can make them look
like they're really alive, but in all reality they are simply a silicon net
made to achieve a goal. now i know that i'm gonna step on some peoples toes
by saying this and some people probably won't respond to my mail anymore. but
that's the risk i take in making a point. this has probably been the most
replied to and interesting set of e-mails on this list that i've ever seen,
but than again, we are trying to define our goal in making these bots. sorry
for being long winded, i'll shut up now! Keep on BEAMin'!

but it's much better than NiCd or NiMH.

dennison
