That' right. Also having the two diodes back to back ensures that
(irrespective of the polarity of the associated circuitry) atl east one
of them is reverse biased thus offering a high equivalent impedance to
rest of the circuitry so that its function is not affected (in an
unwanted way).

I think I have found a gear motor that would work for beam or other small
robotic applications. It runs at a max of 12v and 60 ma. It runs at 30
rpms. They are selling for 6.95 from MECI. I think I will purchase a pair
of them. I will let you know how they work. If anyone else has these post
info on them.

want to make sure. Can anyone tell me how to use it? Thanks..

Steve is happily pursuing his own interests. He continues to make
interesting robots, most of them involving small processors.

Get your tip nice'n'hot, push it into the cleaner and roll it around, then
take it out and wipe it clean on your sponge. Dat's it!

It's good stuff - I've prolonged the life of my soldering iron tips by a
factor of 5 at least.

Go to the Beam Web Index: http://www3.telus.net/rfws/bwi/index.html and
click on "Walkers". Up at the top of the 2-motor section you will find
the current link to Andrew's tutorial (yes, it's on a mirror site).

I try to keep these links current as various sites move about.

The Panasonic cells are the "Suncerams" that we already have been carrying
for years. We have a copy of the datasheets at:
