noticed that the tick was knocked over too, got a solution to that. (i have
also built a bot almost exactly in the same manner as yours.) if ya can build
the robot, i'm sure you can take apart a pen. so now that you have the spring
out of the pen. glue the spring to the back of the cap at just such an angle
that the end of the spring touches the ground (you might want to trim it down
if its really long.) this allows the bot to still pop good weelies, but it's
harder to "knock on his ass" (as you put it) because he's got anice little
spring there. Good luck!

ton of fun to watch bots duke it out over a ping pong ball (at least those
with eyes). that and if you can find some packing peanuts! really alot of fun
to watch!

10314 Thu, 17 Feb 2000 01:28:37 GMT [alt-beam] Gear motors beam@sgiblab.sgi.com "Ben Kirk" I think I have found a gear motor that would work for beam or other small
robotic applications. It runs at a max of 12v and 60 ma. It runs at 30
rpms. They are selling for 6.95 from MECI. I think I will purchase a pair
of them. I will let you know how they work. If anyone else has these post
info on them.

BTW, it's _not_ a PhotoPopper.
