Subject: [alt-beam] Geared Motors

I've been lookin' in my vast selection of electronics catalogs and tryin to
find just the right gear motors. Most of them are rated at 6 volts and over
with a 10:1 gear ratio. Will this work? if not what will?

something that starts at 6volts you want a motor that actually tops out at
around 5volts. If your quick you can still catch my auction for two perfect
walker gearmotors.

Otherwise you tend to want something with a high gear ration like 150:1 or
something like that, and a RPM of around 30.
