What is track stripping and where can I get more info???
Thank you,
Timothy...

photoresestor would use up more current ... I'm not saying no don't use it
... just a photodiode seems simpler...

10016 Thu, 10 Feb 2000 12:30:34 -0800 [alt-beam] Re: aggravating little pager motors.. beam@sgiblab.sgi.com Laura Malinowski Dremel makes a cutting disk that can be used to cut into the weight ( avoiding
the motor would be recommended, also wear safety glasses). You don't have to
cut all the way through but 3/4 would be good. Place a small screwdriver tip
in the slot and give it a whack with a hammer. If the weight is brittle it
will crack off, if not it should loosen up enough to tap the shaft out. This
is known as the Greek method by old timer mechanics. For lock-tite extreme
temperatures sometimes help destroy the bond for example use that freeze-it
spray, for keeping components cool, just before tapping the shaft out. This
causes the lock-tite to get brittle and crack. This usually works for the
original formula but they now have two flavors: man this is tough and not a
snowball chance in he... If this doesn't work there is always the chainsaw
method but make sure you are not fond of the person holding the motor and
always wear safety glasses
