I have visited many beam web sites, and each one suggests using different=

chips. i'm wondering if anyone could clarify the differences between 74h=
c,
74hct, 74ac, and 74act. And i'm also wondering about the different abili=
ties
of the 74***14, 74***240, 74***244, and the 74***245.

Actually, I can't give you a url. It's at the Yahoo, BEAM club site. In the
photo album labeled Dennison's Bots. The reason why I can't give a url, is
because to be allowed to access the Album you have to 'sign in' on a
previous page. See? If I gave a url, everyone would be upset because they
wouldn't be allowed to view the page. And then what? To find the beam club
it's easy, go to yahoo, go to clubs, and then do a search for beam. If you
want the direct link to the yahoo beam site, it's
http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/beamrobotics I think. But you still have to go
through some rigamaroll to get to it. See? no direct link.

Also check out the picture of my microhead, a HEAd made using the Lego
Micromotors. Again, now that I've had a chance to use the lego motors a
little while, I really don't recomend them. I'm sure they are usuable, and
I'm sure I will use them again, but they really are a weird motor.
Seriously.

The pictures are under dennison's album.

I put another picture up at the yahoo club site of my latest robot that I'm
working on, SPV v1.0. It's a four legged, four motor walker. It has a very
slim profile and is very attractive. Sorry the picture isn't so good. When
you look at it in person, you almost get a little edgy because it's so
spider-like, or human-flesh-eating like. No, actually it's pretty cool.
Check it out. As soon As I get a real camera, I'll get much better pictures
of all of this.
