With pager motors I find that sometimes you can get incredible results if you
test them with a multimeter. I bought some pager micro pager motors that were
rated for 100 mA maximum (load), but when i tested them i got a rating at 50
mA (w/ wieghts) and 30 mA (w/o wieghts). So in conclusion, the best way to
find out is to multimeter test them.

Anyone who hasn't tried this should do so. It's great fun (and almost BEAM related, too :-)

a great concept and a great way to learn how neural networks work.
Another place you may want to check out is a site that goes a little more
into how neurons work, and it includes a free neural network software to
create your own nets similar to BugBrain minus the game.
It also has a schematic for an analog electronic version of a neuron using
an op-amp. It looks like it could easily be adapted for beam circuits. I
know it has me thinking.
