Subject: [alt-beam] SMD Hextile Bicore LEGO motor robot. Pics at yahoo.
Hey, I just finished my prototype bicore walker. BCBUG1.0, (yeah, I don't
really feel the need to name it) anyway, you can check out some blurry pics
at Yahoo BEAM robotics Club, and look in the ablum titled, Dennison's
robots. It's cool I guess, but the jury's still out on how great those lego
motor's really are. I'll admit they are cool, but have their drawbacks, for
starters, they really aren't that strong. Unless you're running them off a
nine-volt, and then it's because your pumping them with power. So,
eventually BCBUG1.0 will be solarpowered and runs off a set of small caps
underneath the bot.
