I started looking for the info you wanted. But before I found something
directly usable, I found this page that may interest some members here
who were discussing the Biped, balancing etc. Have a look at Stampy &
Borfin at:

http://www.acroname.com/robotics/gallery/gallery.html

& yes some bots on this page do use the pyroelctric detector - their
price? $ 40 for the detector.

A conclusion is the place where you got tired of thinking.

You'll notice that there's a FAT trace under the red overcoat on the PCB=20
adjacent to there the tang is. You can scrap the red off, and then solder a=
=20
big solderblob over from this fat trace to the motor clip. Only draw-back=20
is that if one of the touch sensors hits this motor, it'll short out the=20
device.

If you have probs with it, feel free to send it back, and we'll perform the=
=20
repair for you free-of-charge.

Dave

with them. Imagine cascades of phlegm and a stench worse than the worst. :)
