Subject: [alt-beam] RC Oscillator Required

Hi there, Elmo here again looking for some design help.

I need a simple RC oscillator circuit, that can produce a 2Hz sine or
square wave. Ordinarily i would use a 74HCxxx and build one that way,
but i want to drive some level meters which only require about 1 - 2V @
1mA - 10mA, so i think that having to charge up to 3V just to run the
chip is a bit of a waste. The 2Hz wave doesn't even have to be stable.
It can deviate from the 2Hz a bit and still be acceptable.

Thanks for any help

Elmo
