TLC & Discovery Channel are both part of Discovery Communications, hence
the occasional bit of confusion.

I purchased from them:

"Robots Rising", 100 minutes, good quality, broad coverage
of recent robotics, includes segments devoted to Tilden
& his creations.

"Extreme Machines III: Incredible Robots", 47 minutes, variable
quality (poor to good), crummy "artistic" production, quite
a bit of duplication from "Robots rising", a higher proportion
devoted to Tilden (and almost all of it different from "RR")

I was disappointed in the second video (but I'd still buy it).

Regards,
Bruce

Just a plain motor? Efficiency is essential. Recorder motors (ie: CD, video,
tape, disk drives etc...)

If geared, look for about 30rpm @ 5V. This is usually the optimum for
walkers. LEGO Micromotors fit perfectly into this definintion... and their
small too (1cm cubed). Get them at your nearest LEGO shop at hime
service.... just go to www.lego.com. But again, it all depends on what you
need to build.

Go to the your local garbage or surplus store... pay attention to brok
radios, walkmans, answering machines, and other recorders.

Good Luck in your searches.
