I'll look into that and see what I find. I love your
site, by the way.
My site (not BEAM, so I won't post it) uses a black
background too, so I'll have to look into that!

regulator, gives 1.3 volts by itself. Add an LED selected for a forward
drop of 1.7 volts to its leg which is normally connected to ground & you
get a 3 volt regulator.

When everything's coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.

Hey great site! I just had a look at it, and everything seemed to work
well (I didn't have any problems reading it on my PC at work).
I noticed that you used the FRED solar engine on one of your bots.
Thanks for the plug! I
discovered yesterday that it ISN'T immune to the full-sun lockup problem.
To make your robot perform better, I would mount the FLEDs underneath the
solar panel (instead of sticking out) and point them at 45 degrees to the
centerline. This should make it work nicely. One more thing, remember to
use 33k resistors to supply the FLEDs, not the 10k as shown in the diagram
I posted earlier.
Good luck!

that yes I am one of those people who find it vary hard to read from the
computer... I often have to cut and paste into simpletext so the computer
can read it for me...(Bad eyes) ... I also hate it when a page uses 800x600
or 1024x768 format.... Makes the print just too small...
So simple and lager is better :)

the reguired voltage?? (Though I suppose even I would opt for the LED!!)
