9488 Sun, 23 Jan 2000 19:02:44 GMT [alt-beam] ok... FLEDpv beam@sgiblab.sgi.com "Mike Kulesza" I guess no body looked into my previous message because 2GLEDPV looks
weird... so here it is - basically im asking for FLEDpv:

Does anyone have a schmatic of a FLEDpv that shows: where the feelers go,
and the value of that trimpot???? I will replace each fled with 2 normal
green LEDs, since that makes it a MUCH more active.

I saw that like two weeks ago, MT talks for like 15 minutes, and does a time
laps thing where he builds what looks like a NiTi walker in like an hour.
There's a large amount of information on BEAM.
I couldn't tape it, not enough warning.

tuned. A one hour show comes on next then it replays. At least that's how I
lucked
out.

You can place feelers in between the base of the PNP transistor, and Vcc.
This effectively 'shorts out' the PNP transistor, so it never turns on. I'm
going to do this to FRED.

Note that this will work better on FRED than on other FLED engines, because
FRED supplies the base of the PNP through a cap - reducing power wastage.

Flash: I just made a matchbox sea-plane solar powered! I haven't got any
pictures yet, but they're coming soon. I used the FRED solar engine there
as well.

Isn't the show "Extreme Machines" on the Learning Channel?
