To help prevent it from sinking into the snow on the
tips of each leg I glued some bottle tops. not the
little caps the ones from like an oceanspray juice
bottle. They work like snowshoes. And sorry I don't
have a digital camera or a scanner. But I might take
pics with a camera and scan them at school.

I am building a photovore using a pen-spring motor suspension and I running
into a lot of problems I didn't even think about before building. I got the
idea from Bob Shannon but I need more help. If anyone knows the URL of Bob's
site, could you please post it? Thanks a lot.

Oh, even better, if you could help me out directly that would be nice. My
main problem is that I don't know how to do the 3rd support (the 'dragging
belly') on the bot and still achieve the result I want. I tried to do
something with another pen spring but that didn't work very well. Also, I've
had an unrelated problem that I won't go into here but you'll probably see a
question about soon enough.

Thanks,

and the value of that trimpot???? I will replace each fled with 2 normal
green LEDs, since that makes it a MUCH more active.

Well, I recommend building a photovore. They are real fun because they
actually do something interesting and they aren't too hard or expensive. My
first bot was a Photopopper from Solarbotics and I haven't built a kit since.
I think you should go to Fang's site and from those instructions build a
photovore from scratch. It's not that hard. You may want to build several
photovores to practice (and build up a neat little RJP) before you start on
bicores and walkers. Happy BEAMing!
