Subject: [alt-beam] Re: quebec
greetings,
Are you asking about the province or the city :) I am
in Montreal and I too am looking for local clubs, afficionados and
sources. I know a few good resources in the area but in order to
get my first batch of experimenting parts together I ordered from
Solarbotics.
I am also looking into finding out if the local universities
(McGill and Concordia) have any robotics clubs open to the general public.

I say both...using a kit teaches you the basic hidden technical stuff, that
no one thinks to mention, Which helps you build a better scratch bot
